Seattle - My New Car - A Good Place to Buy

This is my new car. It is a 2000 Hyundai Accent. I like my car. I like the people who sold me the car. They are nice friendly people. They helped me a lot to get my car and I think they will do the same for you. In fact, I've never received such excellent service in any purchase. They worked WITH me to get a great card. My credit is not great nor is it as good as most people. You should go see them in Everett, WA. Here is their website address...

Seattle Boyz and the Police 2

How does it end... Well, naturally it ends with our boyz being pulled over immediately - the infaction - Failure to Come to a Complete Stop at a Crosswalk, fine $101.00, memory priceless. Taking a closer look back... immediately upon merging onto the street, the squad car slowed down and pulled up behind our boyz as they stopped for a red light. As soon as the light turned green, on came the police lights and the car was pulled over and the driver questioned as to why he had "dialated pupils" and ridiculous line of questioning which eventually gave way to furthers third degree questioning and alas, eventually the ticket. Stay tuned for post of the "scene of the crime"...

Seattle Boyz and the Police

Picture this and then tell me how this urban tale ends: Two Black guys are cruising Bell Town, the preppie night club section of downtown Seattle. It's around 11:00 pm on a Friday night and Beyonce's "Soilder" is spitting tunes out of the CD players and things are good. All of the sudden, the glittery darkness is broken by the sheen of a Seattle Police squad car proceeding through the intersection. Our boyz come to an aprupt but smoot halt as the squad car tentatively slows passing through the intersection. The eyes of the boyz and the eyes of the officers meet briefly in an akward moment and then both vechicles continue on their way. As one of the boyz exits the vehicle to "hit up" an ATM machine in the area, the driver circles the adjacent block hoping to pick up his passanger on a subsequent pass around the block. After a few minutes, our driver spots the passenger in the rear view and cuts through the alley to swoop around and pick up his boy. Protruding through the alley, he honks his horn, his boy notices him and come over and hops in the ride. It's at this time, at the dimly lit entrance to the alley, that out boyz run into the same police squad car again. How does this tale end?

After a rough start, JoAnna's shifts into gear
By REBEKAH DENN

P-I RESTAURANT CRITIC
Did those catfish strips really come from a warming tray? They were so crisp and fresh in their light cornmeal-flour batter, we hardly believed it was part of the dozen-plus chafing-dish selections in the Sunday brunch buffet at JoAnna's Soul Cafe and Jazz Club... MORE

Seattle to California to Seattle

Well, I'm back from CA. I love the Bay Area and to be honest, I think as I get older, I kinda miss it. I arrived April 13th to sunny and warm and departed April 17th partly sunny. I like Seattle but partly because of it's diversity, love the Bay Area. I think we Seattlites, tend to talk about diversity but don't really practice it in their lives but we'll leave that there for now. Another note, the Bay Area seems to have more traffic volume per mile but the traffics moves more quickly because Bay Area drivers tend to be in considerate and selfish so they get out of the way and it clears traffic. On the other hand, ultra polite Seattle drivers tend to be more tentative and that causes back ups and slow down... I'll have more to say later Seattle and CA...

Here's a pic of the College Student Nicole... Yes, she

This is a pic of me at work in Seattle. Well actually, not me at work but me in the work place. I will be absent from this work place from April 11th through April 17th. Even bloggers need a break... Oh, in case anyone's interested, I'm going to California for my Mother's Birthday and to celebrate Easter with her and the family.
